About the Sundae King

Ice Cream Sundae: 100 Greatest Fountain Formulas is food writer and widely-published author Michael Turback's third book on the topic of the Sundae, following A Month of Sundaes (2002) and More Than a Month of Sundaes (2006). His works have been reviewed in publications as diverse as Good Housekeeping and Playboy. He has discussed ice cream and soda fountain culture on Martha Stewart Radio and NPR's Talk of the Nation, and his Sundae-making skills have been seen on 60 Minutes II and The CBS Early Show. He makes his home in Ithaca, New York, where the Ice Cream Sundae was invented in 1892.
